Definition
What Is an SEO Service For, and Who Is It Right For?
Before customers call you, they search for their problem or need. SEO is the sum of the work that makes your page appear in front of them in that search.
A business that is not on the first page for searches like “scrap metal buyer Maltepe,” “dietitian online appointment” or “pallet prices” leaves that customer to a competitor. Search engine optimization means making a site crawlable, understandable and trustworthy so that it appears in these searches. If you are curious about the basics of SEO, take a look at our What Is SEO? guide; on this page you will find how our service works, what we measure and how the fee is determined.
When it is especially suitable
- You have a website, but almost no customers come from Google.
- You only show up when people search for your company name.
- You want to reduce your dependence on your advertising budget.
- You serve specific districts and cities.
- You are about to launch a new site or redesign your current one.
Situations where another step may be needed first
- If you don't have a website: you first need a properly structured corporate website.
- If you need sales this month: in the short term, Google Ads management delivers faster results.
- If nobody is searching for your product: Meta Ads is better suited to create demand.
Scope of service
What Do We Take On in Our SEO Service?
We carry out technical, content, local and authority work not separately, but within a single plan tied to the same keyword map.
Technical SEO audit
We find indexing issues, redirect chains, 404 pages, duplicate content and sitemap errors, and fix them in order of priority.
Speed and mobile experience
By improving image sizes, caching and loading order, we make sure pages open quickly and smoothly on phones.
Keyword map
We identify the searches your customers actually make and tie each keyword group to a single page, so your pages don't compete with each other.
Content and on-page SEO
We optimize titles, descriptions, heading structure and internal links, and prepare new pages that answer questions directly for missing topics.
Local SEO
We make sure your business information is consistent across your Google Business Profile, district-level service pages and directory listings.
Structured data
For your organization, services, products and frequently asked questions, we add schema markup that matches the content on the page exactly.
Natural authority building
Instead of purchased link packages, we earn brand mentions through industry directories, business partners and content collaborations.
AI visibility
Within the same plan, we measure and improve how your brand is mentioned in ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews.
Choose the right service
SEO Audit, SEO Consulting and Monthly SEO Service
The three are often confused, but they answer different needs. We clarify together in the preliminary review which one you need.
| Topic | One-time SEO audit | SEO consulting | Monthly SEO service |
|---|---|---|---|
| What do you get? | A current-status report and a prioritized to-do list | A monthly roadmap, meetings and implementation checks | All of the planning, implementation, content and measurement |
| Who carries out the work? | Your team | Your team, under our guidance | We do, together with your developer if needed |
| Who is it right for? | Businesses that want to know where they stand or are redesigning their site | Companies with an in-house web and content team | Businesses that cannot dedicate a team to this work |
| Measurement | Baseline values | Monthly check | Monthly report, brand and non-brand shown separately |
Work process
We Carry Out SEO Work in 6 Steps
According to Google's SEO Starter Guide, the effect of some changes can be seen within hours, while others take several months. That is why we build the timeline in stages.
-
Preliminary review and access
With read-only access to Search Console, we look at the site's current status and clarify your goals and service area together.
-
Audit and baseline measurement
We complete the technical audit in the first month, and record clicks, impressions, average position and conversions separately for brand and non-brand.
-
Priority technical fixes
We fix the errors that block indexing and crawling, starting with the highest impact, and keep a record of every change.
-
Keyword map and content plan
We determine which page will answer which search for each of your services and areas, and add the missing pages to the calendar.
-
Content, local and authority work
We refresh pages, publish new content, complete your Business Profile and directory listings, and follow up on natural link opportunities.
-
Monthly measurement and new plan
Every month we compare results using the same metrics, and update the next month's technical and content plan based on the outcome.

Measurement and reporting
How Do We Measure the Results of SEO Work?
The total number of clicks alone can be misleading. Someone who searches for your company name already knows you; real growth comes from appearing in front of customers who don't know you when they search for what they need. That is why our reports always show the two groups separately.
We do not start work without recording the baseline values. Every month we compare the same metrics using the same tools, and we also write the work done that month into the report.
- Clicks and impressions from searches with your brand name and from non-brand searches
- Average position of target pages for priority queries
- Number of pages in the index and new errors in Search Console
- Organic visits in Analytics and form, phone and WhatsApp conversions
- Whether your brand is mentioned in AI answers
Questions recommended by Google
What to Ask an SEO Agency, and Our Answers
In its own documentation, Google lists the questions to ask before working with an SEO professional or agency. We asked ourselves the same questions.
| Question recommended by Google | Peaq Digital's answer |
|---|---|
| Can you show examples of your previous work? | We share the projects we have completed across different industries, by name, on our clients page. |
| Do you comply with Google Search Essentials? | Yes. We do not use methods that violate spam policies, such as hidden content, buying links or automated content. |
| What kind of results do you expect, in what timeframe, and how do you measure them? | We set goals in writing after the baseline measurement, and every month we compare the same metrics using Search Console and Analytics. |
| Do you have experience in our industry? | We have worked in industries such as scrap and metal, industry, tourism, health and nutrition, real estate and food. In a new industry, we start with a competitor review. |
| Do you have experience in our country and city? | Our projects are aimed at the Turkish market; in Istanbul, we have prepared district-level local SEO pages. |
| Do you have experience with international sites? | If a multilingual structure is needed, we plan the language and URL structure at the very beginning; we clarify your needs in the preliminary review. |
| Who is on your team? | We introduce our SEO, software, design and sales team on the About Us page. |
| How will we communicate, and will you share the changes you make to the site? | Yes. We record every change we make to the site with its date and rationale, and share it together with the monthly report. |
Pricing
What Determines SEO Service Pricing?
The price of an SEO service varies with the current state of your site and the amount of work to be done each month. After the preliminary review, we present the quote with the work items written out one by one.
1. Audit and setup
Technical audit, priority fixes, keyword map, measurement setup and baseline report. Done once, depending on the state of the site.
2. Monthly work
Content creation and refreshes, local and authority work, technical follow-up and the monthly report. The scope is written out month by month in the quote.
The main factors that affect the fee:
- Technical condition of the site
- Number of pages and products
- Monthly content volume
- Number of targeted areas
- Competition in the industry
- Reporting scope
When comparing quotes, we recommend looking not at the package name but at which tasks will be carried out each month, how many pieces of content will be produced, what will be measured in the report and who keeps the accounts when the work ends. Your Search Console, Analytics and Business Profile accounts always remain in your name.
Common myths
Common Misconceptions About SEO Services
| Misconception | Reality |
|---|---|
| “A good agency guarantees the #1 spot.” | Google states that no one can guarantee the #1 spot on Google, and that you should stay away from anyone who offers such a guarantee. |
| “The more backlinks, the better.” | Buying links or joining link networks to influence rankings violates Google's spam policies and can harm the site. |
| “Long content always wins.” | Google states that there is no minimum or maximum word count for ranking. What matters is the quality of the answer given to the user's question. |
| “The more we repeat the keyword, the better.” | Keyword stuffing violates spam policies. Text should read naturally for the user. |
| “SEO is done once, and that's it.” | Search results, competitors and user behavior change constantly. Lasting results require regular measurement and content work. |

Why Peaq Digital?
We Plan SEO Together with Your Website, Content and Advertising
Search visibility doesn’t come from a single setting; it comes from coordinating your site, content and other channels together.
We measure non-brand growth. We don’t present clicks from people who already know you as success; we report the searches that bring new customers separately.
The site side is in-house. We implement technical fixes directly with our web and software teams, without outsourcing the work.
AI visibility included. We run GEO work not as a separate job, but as part of the same SEO plan.
Documented, transparent work. We don’t offer unproven numbers or guarantees, and we report every change we make on your site with its date.
We have collected what to look at before working with an agency in our article on criteria to consider when choosing an agency. The same criteria apply when choosing the right SEO service.
Frequently asked questions
Frequently Asked Questions About SEO Services
What does an SEO service include?
What determines the price of an SEO service?
The price depends on the technical condition of your site, the number of pages, the amount of content to be produced or refreshed each month, the number of target regions, the competition in your industry and the scope of reporting. We recommend comparing offers not by package name but by which tasks will be carried out each month. After an initial review, we submit a quote that lists each work item individually.
When will SEO results show?
According to Google’s SEO Starter Guide, the effect of some changes can be seen within a few hours, while others take several months. Fixing technical errors usually has the first effect; gains in content and authority take longer. That is why we record baseline values in the first month and compare against them every month using the same metrics.
Do you guarantee the number 1 spot on Google?
No. As Google’s own documentation also states, no one can guarantee the number 1 position on Google; any company that offers such a guarantee should be treated with suspicion. What we do is transparently commit to the work we will carry out, the metrics we will track and the results we will report.
What is the difference between an SEO service and SEO consulting?
In SEO consulting, we determine the work to be done and your team carries out the implementation. With an SEO service, in addition to planning, we also take on the technical fixes, the content work and the measurement. A one-off SEO audit, on the other hand, only gives you a report on the current situation and a prioritized to-do list.
Do you carry out the implementation yourselves? What if we have our own developers?
In the monthly SEO service, we carry out the implementation ourselves. If you have your own software team, we handle the technical changes together with them and send you every change in writing, along with its rationale. If we built your site, or if it needs to be rebuilt, our web team steps in directly.
How and how often is reporting done?
Every month we prepare a report using Search Console and Google Analytics data. The report shows searches made with your brand name and non-brand searches separately, and we share the query-level position of target pages, the number of pages in the index, organic visits and conversions such as forms and phone calls, together with the work carried out that month.
Do you do backlink work?
Yes, but not with purchased link packages or link networks. Google’s spam policies explicitly prohibit buying links to influence rankings. We focus on earning links and brand mentions from natural sources such as industry guides, business partners, the press and content collaborations.
SEO or Google Ads?
The two meet different needs. Google Ads delivers fast results, but when the ads stop, the traffic stops too; SEO moves more slowly but builds a lasting channel. For businesses just starting out, we often recommend planning both together and carrying what is learned from ad data into SEO content.
What happens if we stop the SEO work?
The technical fixes made and the content published stay on your site, and the rankings you have gained don’t disappear overnight. However, because competitors keep working and search results are constantly changing, a decline may be seen over time. Before ending the work, we prepare a handover report.
Is GEO included in the SEO service?
Yes. Because visibility in ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI overviews rests on the same technical and content foundation, we run the GEO layer within the SEO plan. If you want a separate engagement focused only on AI visibility, you can look at our GEO Agency service.
Who keeps the Search Console and Analytics accounts?
Always you. The accounts are opened in your business’s name and we are added only as an authorized user. Read-only access is enough for the initial review; when the engagement ends, you simply remove our access.

Let’s review, free of charge and using your Search Console data, which searches your site appears in today, and let us share in writing what we would fix in the first three months under our SEO service.
