Definition
What Does Google Ads Management Cover, and Who Is It For?
Google Ads is the fastest way to appear in front of people at the very moment they are searching for what they need. But a wrongly set-up account spends the budget on irrelevant searches and clicks that cannot be measured.
Opening an ad account takes a few minutes; the hard part is knowing which search every lira spent came from and whether it turned into a sale. That is why account management is not just writing ads; it means setting up measurement, regularly cleaning up search terms, changing the bidding strategy based on data, and aligning the landing page with the ad. We have covered the core concepts and ad types of Google Ads in our What Is Google Ads? guide; on this page, you will find how our service works.
When it is especially suitable
- Your customers search for what they need on Google, and you want quick inquiries.
- You are running ads but don't know which search brings in sales.
- Your cost per click is rising, but your conversions are not.
- You want to quickly test demand for a new service or area.

Measurement infrastructure
Measurement First: How Do We Track Conversions?
All of Google’s smart bidding strategies rely on conversion measurement. If a form submission is counted twice, or phone calls are not measured at all, the system optimizes toward the wrong goal. That is why we set up and test measurement before the campaign starts.
- Website conversions with the Google tag and Tag Manager
- Importing key events from GA4 into Google Ads
- Improving measurement accuracy with Enhanced Conversions
- Measuring phone calls and WhatsApp clicks separately
- Where needed, importing sales from the CRM as offline conversions
Enhanced Conversions hash first-party data from sources such as forms with SHA256, match it with Google accounts, and improve the accuracy of conversion measurement. Source: Google Ads Help Center.
Bidding strategy
We Choose the Bidding Strategy Based on the Account's Data
Smart Bidding sets the bid separately in every auction; but choosing the right strategy requires enough accurate conversion data.
| Strategy | What does it do? | When do we use it? |
|---|---|---|
| Maximize conversions | Spends the entire daily budget to get as many conversions as possible. | Once measurement is in place, while there is not yet enough data to set a target cost. |
| Target CPA | Tries to keep the average cost per conversion at the target you set. | Once the account has steady conversion data and an acceptable cost per customer is clear. |
| Target ROAS | Bids according to a target return on the set ad spend; requires values to be assigned to conversions. | In e-commerce, once sales values are measured correctly. |

Quality Score and Landing Page Experience
Quality Score is a diagnostic tool, rated from 1 to 10, that shows how good your ads are compared with other advertisers appearing in the same search.
| Component | What does it tell you? | How do we improve it? |
|---|---|---|
| Expected click-through rate | The likelihood that your ad will be clicked when shown | Headlines that match search intent, strong assets, and blocking irrelevant searches |
| Ad relevance | How closely the ad matches the user's search | Splitting keywords into tight groups and writing ad copy specific to each group |
| Landing page experience | Whether the person who clicks finds what they were looking for on the page | Pages that carry the same message as the ad, load fast, and are easy to use on mobile |

Work process
We Plan the First 90 Days in 6 Steps
The first month of the account is a period of data collection and cleanup. We make decisions not on guesswork, but on the data accumulated during this period.
-
Goal and account review
Together, we review the cost per customer your business can accept, the service area, and, if there is one, the history of your existing account.
-
Measurement setup and testing
We set up form, phone, WhatsApp, and sales conversions, and test each one to make sure it is counted correctly.
-
Campaign structure and launch
We prepare keyword groups, ad copy, assets, and negative lists, and then launch the campaigns.
-
Data collection and cleanup
In the first weeks, we check search terms frequently, block irrelevant searches and fine-tune ads and bid settings.
-
Strategy and budget adjustment
Once enough conversion data has built up, we update the bidding strategy to match your target cost and shift budget toward the campaigns that perform best.
-
Reporting and growth
We share the results in a monthly report and plan new ad groups, regions or campaign types for the searches that work well.
Reporting
Which Metrics Will You See in the Monthly Report?
The number of clicks alone is not a measure of success. We build the report to show what your ad spend actually brings to your business.
| Metric | What does it show? |
|---|---|
| Spend and clicks | Where the budget goes and which campaigns it is spent on |
| Number of conversions | Breakdown of forms, calls, WhatsApp messages and sales by source |
| Cost per conversion | What you pay for each customer inquiry and how it has changed since the previous month |
| Return on ad spend | The sales value generated by every lira spent in e-commerce |
| Search terms | The real searches your ad appeared for and the terms that were blocked |
| Impression share | Impressions missed because of budget or ad rank |

Pricing
How Is the Google Ads Management Fee Determined?
Your payment consists of two separate items. After the initial review, we share in writing which tasks are included in the fee.
1. Ad budget
Paid directly to Google with your own payment method set up in your ad account. You can always see how much was spent in your Google invoices.
2. Management fee
The work of setup, measurement, optimization and reporting. It is set according to the scope of the account and written as a fixed amount in the proposal.
The main factors that affect the management fee:
- Number and type of campaigns
- Number of target regions and languages
- Scope of the measurement setup
- Need for a product feed
- Need for a landing page
- Reporting frequency
When comparing proposals, we recommend looking beyond the price: in whose name the ad account is opened, whether the measurement setup is included, how often search terms are reviewed and which metrics appear in the report.
Common myths
Common Misconceptions About Google Ads
| Misconception | Reality |
|---|---|
| “If there are many clicks, the campaign is successful.” | Success cannot be judged without measuring how many of the clicks turn into customer inquiries. |
| “If we increase the budget, sales will increase by the same proportion.” | A budget increase first goes to more expensive or less relevant impressions; scaling should be gradual and based on data. |
| “If the Quality Score is high, everything is fine.” | According to Google, Quality Score is a diagnostic tool and is not used as a direct input in the auction. The real measures are conversions and cost. |
| “Smart bidding is set up and runs on its own.” | Smart bidding is only as good as the conversion data it is fed. Wrong measurement steers the system toward the wrong goal. |
| “An agency should guarantee sales.” | Results depend on the product, price, competition and the conversion strength of the website. What you should expect is transparent measurement and regular optimization, not a guarantee. |

Frequently asked questions
Frequently Asked Questions About Google Ads Management
How is the Google Ads management fee determined?
We set the management fee based on the number of campaigns, campaign types, the number of target regions and languages, the scope of the measurement setup and the reporting frequency, and we write it as a fixed amount in the proposal. After the initial review, we share item by item which tasks are included in the fee.
Is the ad budget included in the management fee?
No. The ad budget is paid directly to Google with your own payment method set up in the ad account; the management fee is separate. That way you can always see from your invoices how much you pay Google.
How much monthly ad budget should I set aside?
It depends on the cost per click in your industry and the region you target. Before starting, we look at the Keyword Planner's estimated cost per click for your target keywords and recommend a starting budget that allows meaningful data to be collected.
When will I start to see results?
Search campaigns start receiving impressions and clicks shortly after going live. Smart bidding strategies need time to learn from conversion data and the account needs time to be optimized, so we plan the first month as a data-collection and clean-up period and then optimize toward your target cost.
Who will own the ad account?
The ad account is opened in your business's name and belongs to you; we work with administrator access. When the engagement ends, the account, the campaigns and all historical data stay with you.
Do you guarantee sales or ROAS?
No. Ad results depend on your product, price, competition and the conversion strength of your website; we recommend being skeptical of any agency that guarantees them. What we commit to is correct measurement setup, regular optimization and transparent reporting.
How do you do the reporting?
Every month we report spend, clicks, conversions, cost per conversion and, in e-commerce, return on ad spend, compared with the previous month. The report also lists which search terms we blocked that month, which ads we changed and the plan for the following month.
Is setting up conversion tracking charged separately?
Measurement setup is the first step of the work, and its scope is written separately in the proposal. Standard setups such as phone, form and WhatsApp tracking are part of the initial work, while extensive integrations such as importing offline sales from a CRM are planned separately as needed.
Can you take over my existing ad account?
Yes. We first review your account and report on measurement errors, irrelevant search terms that are spending money, the campaign structure and the landing pages. To avoid losing historical data, we prefer to fix the existing account rather than open a new one from scratch.
Google Ads or SEO?
Google Ads delivers fast results, but when the ads stop, the traffic stops too; SEO moves more slowly but builds a lasting channel. The most efficient way to use the two channels together is to learn which searches bring sales in advertising and carry that knowledge into your SEO content.
Can I start advertising if I don't have a website or mine is outdated?
You can start, but whether the visitors the ads bring actually convert depends on the landing page, and landing page experience is one of the components of Quality Score. When needed, we build a fast-loading landing page with tracking already in place, together with our web team.
Which campaign type should I use?
